Import Endpoints from Active Directory – hassle free client addition
The BDRSuite Backup Server has been updated to enable users to incorporate numerous servers (including Windows and Linux) and endpoints (including Windows, Linux, and Mac) as data sources. This can be accomplished by importing machine information from AD/LDAP servers. As a result of this capability, multiple machines can now be conveniently managed for backup and recovery via a single console on the backup server.
Import hosts using CSV file
BDRSuite clients can be added via CSV file. Similar to importing endpoints from active directory, we can also use CSV file to add the hosts directly to BDRSuite.
Manage Mac clients from Centralized Server
Configure and Manage Mac backups directly from a centralized backup server. Additional client requirement for Mac endpoint management has been eliminated from BDRSuite version v5.6.0
Backup Job Template to simplify the workload addition
No longer need to specify scheduling, retention, and exclusion for creating a backup job. Using job template users can create backup job templates based on their organization’s policy and use them when creating backup jobs for respective workloads.
Multi-tenancy support for Endpoints and File/Folder Backups
With this feature, MSPs, SRE’s and IT administrators can now create a distinct tenant by grouping selected servers and endpoints, allowing for Read-Only or Restore-Only permissions. This capability extends to various workloads, including Endpoints (Windows, Linux, and Mac), as well as Servers (Windows and Linux).
